Mississippi warranty reimbursement requirements

Parts and labor eligibility
- Labor reimbursement: Retail reimbursement and reasonable technician time in the linked 2021 edition.
- Parts reimbursement: Retail reimbursement in the linked 2021 edition.
State requirements
- Maximum RO age: Repairs within 180 days before submission.
- Qualifying RO sample: All consecutive ROs containing 100 qualifying ROs.
- Alternative sample period: All ROs closed over 90 consecutive days.
- Sample selection rule: Whichever produces fewer ROs.
- Manufacturer response: 45-day rate review, subject to qualified rebuttal and supplemental-record rules.
- Request frequency: Once per 12 months for parts, labor or both.
Statutory exclusions
- Manufacturer/distributor promotions and discounted campaigns.
- Wholesale parts.
- Dealer-owned vehicles.
- Routine maintenance, except work performed in the course of and related to an otherwise qualified repair.
- Accessory installations.
- Tire/wheel work and brake replacement.
- Vehicle reconditioning.
- Legally required safety or emissions inspections.
- Government/insurer volume discounts.
- Body repairs for collision, road-hazard, weather, vandalism, theft or other specified damage.
- Items without individual part numbers.
- Manufacturer-approved goodwill or policy repairs.
- Window replacement, etching, tinting and protective-film work.
